Storms stopped play on Saturday 29th but Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August were fine, sunny and full of fun!

Crossing The Tyne Festival: Performers for Good Causes!

Crossing The Tyne Festival has been raising funds for good causes since 2015.

  • In 2018 we raised over £1,044.50 for Metro Radio “Cash for Kids”
  • In 2019 we raised £4,082.06 for RNLI Lifeboats

In between Festivals we have run Showcase Events and raised funds to buy life-saving defibrillators, like the one outside the Salty Dog Pub on North Shields Fish Quay.

We were proud and delighted that in 2018 we were recognised as a “Get Inspired By” activity by the Great North Exhibition 2018!

Many thanks to all the Performers, Venues, Helpers and Organisers for giving their time, talents, energy and space for free in a good cause!
